2010 Golf Classic - September 17th
It was a beautiful day on the course. Golfers playing in the MRHC Foundation Golf Charity Classic not only had a good time, they raised funds in support of the purchase of an infant security system for the McAlester Regional Health Center Women's and Children's Services.

This year's first place winners were Waterstone Benefit Administrators (morning group) and First National Bank and Trust Company of McAlester (afternoon group). Newfield Exploration and Eastern Oklahoma State College took second place in the a.m. and p.m. groups; Twin Cities Ready Mix and the Leon Mace team were the third place winning teams.

"Our 2010 Charity Golf Classic was a complete success," said MRHC Foundation Director Helen Wheeler adding, "We couldn't have asked for better weather or a better turn out! With 28 teams playing and numerous sponsors we were able to raise over $13,000 towards the purchase of an infant security system for MRHC. This piece of infrastructure will be vital to keeping our infants and children safe against potential abductions. As we look forward to 2011, there will be several events and ways that you can be apart of bringing this capital expense project to completion!"
