C. T. Thompson Award
Emergency room and medical staff at McAlester Regional Health Center have been honored with the C.T. Thompson Award presented by St. Francis Hospital. The Thompson Award is given to those individuals whose contribution to trauma patient care exemplifies the skill, dedication, compassion and teamwork which is trauma care at its best. Each year a patient with a critical injury and good outcome is chosen. This outcome is dependent on team function, excellent care and a good demonstration of the team concept.
