As your not-for-profit regional health center, providing quality care at an affordable cost is the cornerstone of our mission at McAlester Regional Health Center. Patients – not profits – are the bottom line. Quality of service – not quantity of patients – is the ultimate goal. In the current health care environment, however, “covered benefits” reimbursed to MRHC from insurance companies, HMOs and other sources along with continued cuts to the Medicare program by the federal government pay only a portion of the real costs of high-quality care for our patients.
Maintaining our dedication to the best possible quality care for our patients now requires charitable support from the community to supplement available funds. McAlester Regional Health Center Foundation will play a vital role in our ability to continue to update facilities, purchase necessary new equipment and meet the healthcare needs of the community.

Mission Statement
The McAlester Regional Health Center Foundation is a charitable, not-for-profit corporation, whose mission and purpose are to provide financial support to McAlester Regional Health Center, to support the Health Center’s dedication to the health and wellness of the people in its service area and provide a means for the community to unite with the Health Center in a partnership to ensure quality, compassionate and affordable healthcare for all.
Goals of the Foundation
The goals of the Foundation are to ensure the availability of the resources needed to allow the Health Center’s commitment of quality healthcare. New and updated equipment will provide the necessary technology for diagnostic and treatment services to the community. With new and updated facilities MRHC will combine the most technologically advanced medicine with the highest standards of personalized care, because we are dedicated to continuing and expanding our tradition of caring.
Fundraising Events
The Annual Diamonds and Ice Gala is held every year in February. The MRHC Foundation Golf Tournament is held yearly at the Arrowhead Golf Course in Eufaula every June.
