Physical Rehabilitative Services

McAlester Regional's RehabCare Unit provides physical rehabilitative services to patients who have lost a degree of independence due to disease or injury. Candidates for rehabilitation are those who have suffered a stroke, orthopedic disorder or injury, head trauma, spinal cord injury or peripheral nerve injury. Also, those with Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease or other progressive neurological impairments are eligible for the program. Specific services offered include physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy and social services.
