Certified Medication Aide

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) is a certified nurse assistant that reports to the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is under the supervision of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The CMA administers medications as prescribed by the resident's physician and documents the administration, the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects of the medications in accordance with established Policies and Procedures of the Van Buren House of MRHC,current standards of practice and applicable OSDH regulations. The CMA may not perform certain duties as outlined in the Van Buren House of MRHC Policy C-2 Procedure # 10. The CMA communicates to residents, staff and others in accurate and factual manner and seeks clarification from or refers questions to the Licensed Practical Nurse when indicated

Certified Physician Outpatient Coder

Responsible for applying CPT/HCPS/ ICD-9-CM code (s) to physician charts. Comply and maintain knowledge of coding rules/regulations. Identifying quality assurance indicators. Accepts and performs other duties assigned by Coding Supervisor.

Certified Scrub Tech

Performs technical skills and provides assistance to surgeons, anesthesia personnel, register nurses and other professionals in the operating room. Performs similar duties in other areas of the hospital as assigned. Rotates through the call schedule as required by department policy.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Under the direction of the Director of Diagnostic Services, performs a variety of duties in preparing patients for scans of particular organs to furnish diagnostic information. Operates radioscopic equipment to produce images for interpretation.

Nurse Extern- Float

Provides direct and indirect patient care through the application of the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating care rendered under the direct supervision of the assigned preceptor. Care provided will address physical, psychosocial, rehabilitative, and discharge needs of the patient and his/her family. Collaborates with other health care professionals, coordinates ancillary staff, functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of MRHC and within the legal framework of the State of Oklahoma.

Nurse Manager, ICU

Pharmacy Tech (2)

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, supervisor, and/or director of pharmacy services. Performs a variety of technical and clerical duties for the hospital-wide unit dose drug distribution system and intravenous admixture program. Responsible to maintain confidential reports, enter and retrieve data utilizing the computer system, prepare intravenous medication, including but not limited to, antibiotics, fill automated medication dispensing system with a supply of unit dose medications, procure, and fill requests for pharmaceutical supplies and deliver supplies to nursing units.

Physical Therapy Assistant, Therapy Services

Administers physical therapy to patients on an intermittent basis, in their place of residence. This is performed accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Physical Therapist and the Manager, Outpatient Therapy Services.

Physician Assistant

Provides medical services appropriate to his or her training, experience, and skills, under the supervision of a registered physician. Candidate will round on post op patients and assist in the orthopedic clinic.

With minimal supervision, plans and implements new construction, maintains piping systems and plumbing fixtures, and repairs holes cut for plumbing purposes.

Radiology Technologist RT(ARRT)

To perform all required procedures in the Cardiovascular laboratory and radiology department, operating specialized equipment including but not limited to the x-ray equipment with the cardiac catheterization laboratory, the processor, computer systems, and having working knowledge of radiology procedures if rotation to radiology is necessary. Trains staff technologists and students.

Social Worker, Inpatient

The purpose of this position is to provide Social Work Services to the Acute Inpatient Units as well as Acute Inpatient Rehab patients as required by the State of Oklahoma and DNV. This position works closely with Patients, Families, Rehab Team, Physicians and other professionals to coordinate the discharge planning and rehabilitation process and assist with the integration of the patient back into the community. The social worker helps the patient and family understand the inpatient and rehabilitation process and offers emotional, social, and financial counseling while the patient is in the hospital. The social worker assists with patient and family education and identifies specific community social and health care resources that facilitate a patient in returning home. Social Work Service consults are provided on all Hospital units for psychosocial support, discharge planning, Rehab prescreening, CPS and APS reporting and crisis intervention

Staff Accountant

Assists with general accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, and other department functions/projects as needed. 2 years experience required & MEDITECH experience preferred.
