Certified Medication Aide

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) is a certified nurse assistant that reports to the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is under the supervision of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The CMA administers medications as prescribed by the resident's physician and documents the administration, the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects of the medications in accordance with established Policies and Procedures of the Van Buren House of MRHC,current standards of practice and applicable OSDH regulations. The CMA may not perform certain duties as outlined in the Van Buren House of MRHC Policy C-2 Procedure # 10. The CMA communicates to residents, staff and others in accurate and factual manner and seeks clarification from or refers questions to the Licensed Practical Nurse when indicated

Certified Nurse Aide, 3-West

Under the direct supervision of licensed personnel, provides direct and indirect patient care activities. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides personal care, comfort, and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patents.

Renal Tech, McAlester Clinic

Under direct supervision of licensed personnel, provides direct and indirect patient care activities in the dialysis unit.

Provides bedside respiratory care to patients as assigned by supervisors and given on the physician's written order for both in house and out patient care. Provides technical guidance and assistance to staff as needed.

This position works closely with Patients, Families, Rehab Team, Physicians and other professionals to coordinate the discharge planning and rehabilitation process and assist with the integration of the patient back into the community. The social worker helps the patient and family understand the inpatient and rehabilitation process and offers emotional, social, and financial counseling while the patient is in the hospital. The social worker assists with patient and family education and identifies specific community social and health care resources that facilitate a patient in returning home. Social Work Service consults are provided on all Hospital units for psychosocial support, discharge planning, Rehab prescreening, CPS and APS reporting and crisis intervention

Ultrasound Technologist

Under the direction of the Radiology Director, performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Performing all ultrasound techniques and examinations, abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, obstetric and gynecology scans, radiation therapy localization for treatment planning, other anatomical areas as required, and minor surgical procedures (ex. Cyst aspirations and biopsies).
