Admitting Clerk (2)

Is responsible for obtaining accurate demographic and insurance data from patients seen in a timely and appropriate mannger in conjunction with EMTALA guidelines. Collects patient co-pay amounts as required and within EMTALA guidelines. Accurately registers patient data into computer system and is responsible for admission area.

Cafeteria Attendant (2)

Serves food to cafeteria customers, keeps cafeteria stocked. Cooks on grill, operates cash register. Cleans cafeteria and dining area.

Certified Medication Aide (2)

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) is a certified nurse assistant that reports to the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is under the supervision of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The CMA administers medications as prescribed by the resident's physician and documents the administration, the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects of the medications in accordance with established Policies and Procedures of the Van Buren House of MRHC,current standards of practice and applicable OSDH regulations. The CMA may not perform certain duties as outlined in the Van Buren House of MRHC Policy C-2 Procedure # 10. The CMA communicates to residents, staff and others in accurate and factual manner and seeks clarification from or refers questions to the Licensed Practical Nurse when indicated

Certified Scrub Tech

Performs technical skills and provides assistance to surgeons, anesthesia personnel, register nurses and other professionals in the operating room. Performs similar duties in other areas of the hospital as assigned. Rotates through the call schedule as required by department policy.

CT Technologist

Administers radiation to patients through the selection of patient protocols and technical factors. Assess each patient and provides direct quality care. Performs CT scans and processes the images.

Director, Foundation

The responsibilities of the director of the Foundation are to plan, direct, carry out, and evaluate the Foundation's program of grant making, fundraising, development, and fund investment. It is expected that the director will develop, and update as necessary, both short and long-term plans supporting the mission of the Foundation. These plans will be reviewed and approved by the Foundation Board of Directors. The director will have the responsibility for interpreting the mission of the Foundation to the community, focusing on grant making and fundraising activities to provide support to the McAlester Regional Health Center as well as health-related community service organizations which address the health needs of the community.

LPN, Van Buren House

Assists in the delivery of nursing care and also assists in patient teaching assignments. Works with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

LPN, Nursing Scheduling Coordinator

Responsible for scheduling all Nursing staff within MRHC and its facilities. Coordinates with Nursing unit managers/directors and nurses for scheduling and staffing to benchmarks set forth in annual budget.

Medical Technologist (ASCP) (2)

Responsible for the analysis of laboratory specimens and subsequent result reporting according to laboratory protocol and procedures.

Nurse Extern- Float

Provides direct and indirect patient care through the application of the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating care rendered under the direct supervision of the assigned preceptor. Care provided will address physical, psychosocial, rehabilitative, and discharge needs of the patient and his/her family. Collaborates with other health care professionals, coordinates ancillary staff, functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of MRHC and within the legal framework of the State of Oklahoma.

Nutritional Services Tech

Primarily working in dishroom. May also assemble patient meal trays, stock and clean patient galleys. Serve and stock The Boulevard Grille as necessary.

Pharmacy Tech (2)

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, supervisor, and/or director of pharmacy services. Performs a variety of technical and clerical duties for the hospital-wide unit dose drug distribution system and intravenous admixture program. Responsible to maintain confidential reports, enter and retrieve data utilizing the computer system, prepare intravenous medication, including but not limited to, antibiotics, fill automated medication dispensing system with a supply of unit dose medications, procure, and fill requests for pharmaceutical supplies and deliver supplies to nursing units.

Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Promotes and maintains health by providing clinical services that include aiding in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease or injury under the supervision of a physician.

Radiology Technologist RT(ARRT)

To perform all required procedures in the Cardiovascular laboratory and radiology department, operating specialized equipment including but not limited to the x-ray equipment with the cardiac catheterization laboratory, the processor, computer systems, and having working knowledge of radiology procedures if rotation to radiology is necessary. Trains staff technologists and students.

Respiratory Therapist- RRT or CRT (2)

Provides bedside respiratory care to patients as assigned by supervisors and given on the physician's written order for both in house and out patient care. Provides technical guidance and assistance to staff as needed.

RN or LPN, Eufaula Dialysis

Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

RN, 2-West, Post Surgical Unit (2)

The RN, Case Manager is responsible for conducting psycho-social evaluations, participating in team review of patient progress, recommending changes in treatment based on the patient's progress, recommending changes in treatment based on the patient's current psycho-social needs.

Performs the various duties relative to the cleanliness and sterilization of medical instruments, equipment and supplies required for use in the facility. Collaborates with the Operating room and various departments to ensure availability and sterility of instrumentation.

Ultrasound Technologist

Under the direction of the Radiology Director, performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Performing all ultrasound techniques and examinations, abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, obstetric and gynecology scans, radiation therapy localization for treatment planning, other anatomical areas as required, and minor surgical procedures (ex. Cyst aspirations and biopsies).
