Activities Coordinator/CNA

Development and coordination of an activities program designed to promote the residents' active involvement with each other, their families, and the community. Coordinates Social Service program to assist the patient through referrals and outside resources. Assist resident with personal needs (i.e. financial and legal), assessment of mood state, behavior problems, psychosocial adjustment, cognitive, mental status, sensory concerns, and physical/functional status.

Admitting Clerk

Is responsible for obtaining accurate demographic and insurance data from patients seen in a timely and appropriate mannger in conjunction with EMTALA guidelines. Collects patient co-pay amounts as required and within EMTALA guidelines. Accurately registers patient data into computer system and is responsible for admission area.

Cafeteria Attendant (2)

Serves food to cafeteria customers, keeps cafeteria stocked. Cooks on grill, operates cash register. Cleans cafeteria and dining area.

Cart Tech (4)

Exchanges various supply carts, linen carts, and brings down patient food tray retrieval carts. Provides regulated (biohazard) and unregulated trash and box pick up and disposal service. Picks up soiled Linen to include confidential recyclable paper and takes to locked bins.

Certified Nurse Aide, 2West, Post Surgical

Under the direct supervision of licensed personnel, provides direct and indirect patient care activities. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides personal care, comfort, and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patents. The position will also assit with the clerk duties through communication, requisitioning and management of supplies and equipment, coordinates the activities of the nursing staff, the patient, the physician, other hospital departments and visitors. He/she performs general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit.

Clinical Risk Manager, RN

The Clinical Risk Manager is responsible for the facility's risk management activities, which includes, but may not be limited to, a general knowledge of facility insurance programs, managing claims against the facility, interfacing with defense legal counsel, administering the risk management program on a day-to-day basis, managing and analyzing risk management data, and conducting risk management educational programs. The coordinator promotes patient safety, quality of care and minimizing loss to protect the assets of the facility.

Cook, Food Services

Prepares food for cafeteria, patients, caterings, meals on wheels and special events. Helps to maintain proper inventory of food and products.

CT Technologist

Administers radiation to patients through the selection of patient protocols and technical factors. Assess each patient and provides direct quality care. Performs CT scans and processes the images.

Director, Case Management

Manages CM screens for all patients for discharge planning needs. Oversees development of the plan of care with the case managers for all patients and monitors progress. Most of the time will be spent coordinating the high-risk discharges and special needs of complex patients working with the multidisciplinary team (primary nurses, physicians, post acute care manager). Will guide the care management of high-risk patients for the specific physician(s) he or she is assigned. Will manage the variances from the established plan of care. Cross-trained to perform utilization review as needed and when assigned to do the job. Must be detail-oriented and organized, with demonstrated computer and critical thinking skills. Must have effective communication skills as demonstrated with both internal and external customers.

Director, Emergency Services

Directs, assesses, plans, implements and evaluates delivery of patient care. Provides administrative direction in the development and evaluation of nursing personnel. Responsibilities include compliance with regulatory agency standards, MRHC standards of care and conduct, and standards of practice. Assumes 24-hour responsibility for unit management.

Director, Materials Management

Strategic planning and integrating all aspects of Supply Chain Management processes throughout the McAlester Regional Health Center Oversees assessment and implementation of VHA supply agreements, equipment service contracts, and some leases. Manages purchases of supplies and equipment and is responsible for Inventory Control. Manages monthly bid process.

Medical Assistant, SE Surgery Clinic

Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.

The office manager facilitates the workflow of the office and outpatient services.

Physical Therapist, Therapy Services

The physical therapist shall be responsible for providing a full range of physical therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. This person shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion.

Ultrasound Technologist

Under the direction of the Radiology Director, performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Performing all ultrasound techniques and examinations, abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, obstetric and gynecology scans, radiation therapy localization for treatment planning, other anatomical areas as required, and minor surgical procedures (ex. Cyst aspirations and biopsies).
