Even before I had my daughter at McAlester Regional, I have always felt that this hospital treated their patients like family. I’m the lead medical assistant at Southeast Internal Medicine and every day we treat and care for people from all over this part of Oklahoma just like I was treated and cared for when I had my daughter, Amberlei. And, that’s with compassion, love, and understanding. Being in a doctor’s office is sometimes stressful so we try to make the experience as calm and easy as possible. I know our patients appreciate that….and I definitely appreciated the ‘family way’ I was treated when delivering my child. It seemed just like home.”
