MRHC second longest tenured employee retires after 43 years

Cindy is our second longest tenured employee in the history of our organization. She has frequently been referred to as an "angel" by her co-workers and her patients that she has so kindly taken care of over the past 43 years. Cindy has always given her best to follow the nurse pledge by adhering to the following "I will do all in my power to maintain and elevate the standard of my profession, and will hold in confidence all personal matters committed to my keeping and all family affairs coming to my knowledge in the practice of my calling. With loyalty I will endeavor to aid the physician in his work, and devote myself to the welfare of those committed to my care." “Cindy has always set the example of what a professional nurse should look like as well as how one should care for his/her patients. She is kind, patient, soft-spoken, caring, loyal, trustworthy and dependable.” Says Kim Stout, CNO We will truly miss Cindy and the high level of professionalism; kind, soft-spoken demeanor as she cared for her patients and the dependability that she has given the nursing profession and McAlester Regional Health Center. However, we are also very happy that she has paid her dues in a stressful, emotional and physically challenging profession and will now enjoy spending time with grandbabies and doing the things in life that she has not had time to do. Congratulations on your retirement Cindy and we wish you the best.
