Boulevard Grille
The Boulevard Grille and Cafeteria is open daily from 6:30 a.m. – 10 a.m., 11 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. Visitors are welcome to eat at the cafeteria located on the first floor of the hospital.
Nutritional Services
McAlester Regional Health Center makes every effort to provide nutritious meals for patients prepared according to doctor’s orders.
Patients are served breakfast between 7 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., lunch between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., and dinner between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Guests may purchase meals in the cafeteria and are welcome to bring back to patient rooms. Guest meal trays can be delivered to patient rooms for a fee, call ext. 8092.
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Services
Registered dietitian nutritionists (RDN) are the food and nutrition experts who can translate the science of nutrition into practical solutions for healthy living.Your Registered dietitian nutritionist at McAlester Regional Health Center can help provide you the tools you need to benefit your personal nutrition and wellness. Counseling is available for, but not limited to, the following areas:

- Eating Disorders

- Home tube feeding

During your appointment the dietitian will
- Review your history and help you find ways to improve your nutrition and reduce health risks that will fit your lifestyle.
- Analyze your usual current food intake for possible changes.
- Provide a diet instruction or meal plan based on mutually determined goals and/or calculated needs.
Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels is a program that delivers food to recovering or homebound patients. Lunches are prepared by McAlester Regional Health Center and delivered Monday through Friday by volunteer drivers. All routes are within McAlester and Krebs with no more than 8 stops. Routes take about one hour. Drivers are needed. Please consider sharing at least one hour of your time every five weeks.
