McAlester Bone & Joint Sports Medicine

918-421-6753

The McAlester Bone & Joint Sports Medicine team has an established outreach program that provides Certified Athletic Trainers to meet the needs of the recreational and scholastic athlete throughout Pittsburg and surrounding counties.  As Athletic Trainers we are highly qualified, multi-skilled health care professionals who collaborate with our physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions. We work to recognize injuries early and treat them immediately and appropriately. Certified Athletic Trainers work under the direct supervision of a physician. Our program services provide daily coverage of practice, home events as well as special events in the community and area. In addition, weekly visits are made consistently throughout the school year for consultations with athletes, coaches and administrators.  Our commitment to the community and athletes of this area is demonstrated by our participation with many area high schools.
