Wall-Breaking Kicks Off Unit Construction

Wall-breaking kicks off unit construction

Nurse managers at McAlester Regional Health Center took aim with a sledgehammer to kick off construction of the hospital’s new Geriatric Psychiatry Unit. The unit is now under construction on the first floor of the main hospital building in the west wing with plans to open June 1. It will accommodate 14 beds for short-term specialized treatment of older adults with mental health needs who require an acute inpatient stay. Unit Directory will be Dalina McGee.
