McAlester New Year’s Baby 2016

Maisyn Nyree Camiah, the first baby born at McAlester Regional Health Center in 2016, is pictured on Saturday with her mother, Kaleisha Johnson, of McAlester. Maisyn was born at 1:34 a.m. on New Year’s Day with an assist from Obstetrician Dr. Edwin E. Henslee, also pictured. A special gift package of items ranging from diapers to a playpen was given to the family for the New Year’s baby. The gifts were donated by local merchants Komar, Dottie’s, and Yellow Gazebo; local branches of Walmart, JC Penney, and Stage; the McAlester Regional Health Center Foundation, and the MRHC Auxiliary to help welcome McAlester’s New Year’s Baby. Congratulations, Kaleisha and Maisyn!
