Healthy kidneys filter waste and excess fluids from your blood to make urine. When kidneys are damaged, they lose their filtering capacity. Damage can happen quickly (acute), such as when it’s caused by injury or toxins. Most damage, however, occurs over a period of time (chronic).  The two most common causes of kidney disease are diabetes and high blood pressure.

Our Southeast  nephrologists specialize in the study of the function and diseases of the kidney.  An individual plan unique to your needs will address prevention methods and treatment options.

Our goal is to keep your  system healthy, so you can continue living life to its fullest
