At Life Bridge, we strive to create an environment that promotes mental wellness and resilience. Our inpatient treatment services are designed to help adults 60 years of age and older to cope with challenges and problems that have not been successfully met in a lower level of care. Our objective is to evaluate, diagnose and develop an individualized treatment plan for seniors to ensure our care meets each patient’s needs.

Our treatment team includes a board-certified psychiatrist, medical doctors, mental health nurses, activity therapist, social workers, community education coordinator and a program director. Together we provide skilled and empathetic care and develop a treatment plan to enhance and improve our patients’ quality of life.

Services Available                                             

  • 14 bed specialty unit with private rooms
  • Inpatient psychiatric evaluation and treatment for behavioral health disorders
  • Individualized treatment lasting an average of 10-14 days
  • Individual and group therapy provided according to individual patient needs

10:00 am and 3:00 pm

Friday 10:00 am

 No outside food or drink.  Must be age 12 or older.  No more than 2 visitors at a time.

Admission Criteria

  • Dementia
  • Delusions
  • Hallucinations (visual and/or auditory)
  • Psychosis
  • Paranoia
  • Anxiety
  • Depression/ Suicidal ideation
  • Behavioral Concerns
  • (Assaultive, cursing, yelling)
  • Depression/ Suicidal ideation

(History of mental illness with previous diagnosis such as, but not limited to schizophrenia or bipolar)

Admission Process

  • Call 918-421-4700 and ask to speak to assessment personnel
  • A brief phone screening will be completed
  • A psychiatrist will be consulted with the patient information
  • If accepted, the patient will need to be brought to MRHC emergency department for medical clearance. Once medically cleared the patient will be admitted to Life Bridge.

What to Bring:

  • Casual, comfortable clothing to last 3 days
  • Slippers or shoes without laces

*Do not bring any clothing with hoods, strings, belts or items with electrical cords*

Please leave money, items of value and jewelry at home.
