Insurance and Payment Information
As a courtesy to our patients, McAlester Regional Health Center will file a claim directly with the insurance company. After the Claim has been filed, Patient Financial Services (PFS) will follow- up with the claim’s payment status. We will do everything possible to expedite a claim, however, you should remember that your policy is a contract between you and your insurance company, and you have the final responsibility for your hospital bill payment. We encourage you to contact PFS at 918-421-8022 if you have any questions or concerns regarding the insurance payments or the statements received in the mail.
Notice of Uninsured/Underinsured Patient Discount Policy
McAlester Regional Health Center understands that not everyone has adequate health insurance, and many don’t have health insurance at all. That’s why we’ve made it our policy to provide uncompensated, discounted, or financial assistance program services for individuals who have demonstrated a need in excess of insurance or personal resources of funds available through federal, state, and local funding programs. Please call 918-421-8022 to speak with a patient financial counselor regarding the financial assistance program.
Charity Care Financial Assistance
To further service families in need of financial assistance, McAlester Regional Health Center offers Charity Care. This is a program specifically designed to assist patients who meet federal guidelines for poverty level, although cosmetic or self-pay package accounts do not qualify for Financial Assistance. If you meet these guidelines, it’s your responsibility to establish eligibility for the program. Financial Assistance applications will be reviewed and assessed based on income, assets, and family size.

Payment Options include:
- ONLINE: Click here to view your balance or pay online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your Record Locator Number can be found on your last statement.
*You will be securely redirected to our trusted online payment partner in a new browser tab. - IN-PERSON: Pay in person with cash, credit card, or check by visiting our Financial Services Department. The cashier’s office is located in the Outpatient Admitting department. The entrance is on the second level round drive and cashier can be reached at (918) 421-6628.

Additional Billing
In addition to hospital services, many physicians provide care and services for patients. These physicians will bill you separately from the hospital, so you may receive multiple bills in the mail. For example, you could receive a bill from a consulting physician, anesthesia provider, pathologist, ER physician, or other specialist. If you have any questions concerning their bills, please contact their offices directly.
